Checking the ISA Barred List
Compulsory registration with the ISA (Independent Safeguarding Authority) has been put on hold by the new coalition government. However there is still a requirement for all employers to check the ISA barred list to ensure that any new employees have not been barred from working with vulnerable adults.
Caring organisations should be happy to confirm to any concerned clients or client families that they have complied with this check.
