Gold Standard Achieved

Mary Becket of Beechtree Total Care in Margate has achieved the prestigious Gold Standard in the Alzheimer’s Society approved trainer scheme, being judged ‘outstanding’ in all the categories in the assessment. Already one of a small group of experts in dementia care training, this award will mean that Mary is able to ensure that care staff working for Beechtree continue to get the best training in this demanding field.

ISA Barred List

Compulsory registration with the ISA (Independent Safeguarding Authority) has been put on hold by the new coalition government. However there is still a requirement for all employers to check the ISA barred list to ensure that any new employees have not been barred from working with vulnerable adults.

Re-registration required to meet new standards

Beechtree Total Care has met all the new standards required in the updated regulations, beating the re-registration deadline of October 2010.
